PERSONAL STATEMENT
My Truths
"My cultural work is interdisciplinary, and includes performance art, visual installations, sound, parties, street theater, earth works, environmental intervention. I make both solo and collaborative performances that often address a social political issue. My work is informed by my own spiritual agency, through ceremony; critical race analysis; queer theory; the social/politics of the body. I am interested in creating cultural work that is directly influenced by Set & Setting and aimed towards community building."

TESTIMONIALS
I have personally expanded my network
“I have been a proud partner with Cosmos: Work in Harmony since June 2020. This coworking and retail space in the heart of the Rio Grande Valley is perfect for small businesses and entrepreneurs looking for a place to work, study, or display their products and services. With large, open rooms, meeting and private office spaces, and walls perfect for hanging art, photos, or handmade items, Cosmos is an ideal place to share your work with McAllen and beyond! I have personally expanded my network, grown my small business & sold multiple art and photography pieces while being displayed at Cosmos & participating in their weekly events and markets.”

Cosmos is a generator of opportunities
"Cosmos offers visual artists opportunities to have their work seen and sold. Pedro takes a personal interest in creating opportunities for artists and I know this first hand. I am Mathew Jobson, artist and entrepreneur. Cosmos is a generator of opportunities for those who have a small business, if they are any sort of artist or if they are a interesting combination of the two."
